Caring From the Heart
The Health Department offers a variety of services at little to no charge to the public. Some services provided require special equipment and/or testing supplies, so the fees are only asked for to cover the charge of the item(s) being used.
Services are available by appointment; Monday – Friday 8:00-11:30 and 1:00-4:30 at the Warsaw office.
When visiting the office it is important to bring a copy of your insurance card and also any orders your Physician has given for services you may need. There are many services available and often times only one nurse performing all the needed duties. Please come with the understanding that we will be with you as soon as possible.
Services available: (Services that have a cost associated are indicated with a $ beside them)
- Diabetic Toenail Trimming (please soak feet prior to arrival)
- Medication Box Set-up (Note: you must provide all of your own medications and boxes)
- Blood Pressure Screenings
- Blood Glucose Screenings
- Head Lice Screenings
- Lead Screenings
- Pregnancy Testing ($)
- Laboratory Draws (with a Physicians Order)
- TB Testing ($)
- Immunizations (Possible $)
- Dressing Changes (must provide your own dressing supplies)
- STD Screenings
There is a nurse available during the above hours to answer any questions you may have regarding Public Health Office services.
