About Communicable Diseases


The Health Department offers Communicable Disease services through a State Contract. Some services require that a special set of qualifications be met; those qualifications are set by the state and will be determined by the Public Health Nurse. Services are available by appointment; Monday – Friday 8:00-11:30 and 1:00-4:30, at the Warsaw office.

  • TB Testing ($)
  • Tuberculosis Treatment
  • Hepatitis Screening (with Physicians Order)
  • STD Screenings

Services performed per the State Contract:

  • Foodborne Illness Investigations
  • Tick-Borne Illness Investigation
  • Contagious Disease Outbreak Investigation

Note all contagious diseases are covered under the contact, but our staff will do what we can to offer educational support to the public. There is a nurse available during the above hours to answer any questions you may have regarding Communicable Diseases.
