The Health Department offers
Communicable Disease services through a State Contract. Some services require that a special set of qualifications be met; those qualifications are set by the state and will be determined by the Public Health Nurse. Services are available by appointment; Monday – Friday 8:00-11:30 and 1:00-4:30, at the Warsaw office.
Services available: (Services that have a cost associated are indicated with a “$” beside them)
- TB Testing ($)
- Tuberculosis Treatment
- Hepatitis Screening (with Physicians Order)
- STD Screenings
Services performed per the State Contract:
- Foodborne Illness Investigations
- Tick-Borne Illness Investigation
- Contagious Disease Outbreak Investigation
Note all contagious diseases are covered under the contact, but our staff will do what we can to offer educational support to the public. There is a nurse available during the above hours to answer any questions you may have regarding Communicable Diseases.
