Public Education Health Classes

CPR and First Aid classes are available to the public by appointment. Our instructor, Brooke Daleske, is a Registered Nurse and is certified through the American Heart Association. Classes offered include CPR BLS/Heart Saver AED, First Aid, or a combination of both. Classes range from 4-7 hours, depending on the course you choose.  Payment options are available for group classes.  If you are interested in a class, please contact us for more information by calling the Health Department during business hours or by using the contact form below.

The Health Department is also involved in the Child Care Health Consultation (CCHC) contract through the state of Missouri. Through the CCHC contract, the Health Department works to enhance child care health and safety practices in order to improve the health status and ensure the safety of children in child care.

The Health Department also works in conjunction with the American Red Cross Home Fire Campaign and works on assisting our clients with smoke alarms and home safety fire plans.
